I came across this new eatery some months back and I was curious to know more about it.
Then just two days before I had this very intense craving for sushi, yes! Sudden cravings, I don’t really have a reference why?
What happened next?
To my surprise, I got a suggestion of Thai Cuisine takeaway point recently opened in Margao. Strange right? I am so impressed by the way the internet is working in this era, very precise to the needs of a person using it.
So just like I always do, did my whole research on their menu and social media handles, other reviews, and everything else!
The menu is super impressive, everything on it screams authentic Thai Cuisine.
So, I ordered the Phad Thai Noodles in non-veg, Crispy Dragon Veggies and Shiitake Mushroom Sushi (of course!)
Review on the food
Considering the fact that I was tasting Thai Food for the first time, here’s my take on it.
The Crispy Dragon Veggies and the Phad Thai Noodles were served in a decent quantity that could serve about 3 people. Also, the Sushi quantity was good enough to serve 3 people.
Did it manage to tingle my taste buds?
Everything tastes yummy when served hot, I specifically found the Phad Thai Noodles to be a little too spicy and the taste was a little blend, (this is totally a personal preference). The Crispy Dragon Veggies are an amazing party snack and amazing appetiser. Well, what do I say about this sushi? Considering that it was veg, I was a little sceptical on the taste but damn! It turned out to be so yummy, I truly enjoyed the sushi. They also served it with some wasabi and pickled garlic, absolutely a delicious combination. And yes! I did order the fortune cookie too, for the pure joy of the whole concept of a fortune cookie .
Service and Delivery: The team at the Southern Wok are very responsive on their socials and you can place your order via the WhatsApp number they provide. They start their takeaways from 6:30 pm onwards. Very cooperative team and they keep you updated about the order and update once done.
For payments they do take cash and UPI payments too.
In times like these, where we can’t really go out and enjoy our weekend meals, The Southern Wok is absolutely a nice place to order from, and if you are craving for some Asian food, definitely a must-try. They have a range of dishes to choose from, and yes! Don’t forget the fortune cookie.
