I think about what weird times we are currently living, its crazy right? Did we even think we would be in a stagnant state for such a long time now? Having so much time to utilize in things we have been waiting to experiment like taking up a new hobby, finding something creative.
I pretty much would have never imagined myself actually making the time everyday to either click or cook. Its works like therapy, where you are mentally so invested and it has just intrinsic benefits and no material influences. You get me ?
What are churros?
A churro is a fried-dough pastry—predominantly choux—based snack. Churros are traditionally from Spain and Portugal and some other parts of the world.
Okay now lets cook some churros …
- In a sauce pan take about 1 cup of water + 4tbp of butter + 2tbp sugar.
- Get this mixture to a boil until all the ingredients are nicely melted.
- Now get this off the heat, and sieve in about 3/4 cup of all purpose flour and nicely mix it until it gets a dough consistency, cool the mixture.
- Add one egg to it after cooling, if you want to make it eggless add about 1/2 tsp baking powder to it.
- Transfer this mixture in a pipping bag.
- In a plate take some sugar and cinnamon powder with a little of nutmeg powder too.
- Fry the Churros until golden brown on medium flame and transfer the hot churros in the sugar mixture to coat them with it.
- Serve them when hot and crispy.
#TIP: When you add the egg to the mixture, it will spilit and look a bit bleh, dont jugde it at this moment and continue mixing and get it pipped. Also dont over fry the churros , just until the golden brown.

You can have these delicious crunchy churros with chocolate sauce or even plain with some icing sugar sprinkled over them.
